What is the Spiritual Journey?

You’ve heard that we’re spiritual beings having a human experience.

Based on this premise, we are all on a spiritual journey.

Many are spiritually curious which is amazing!  Some are experimenting with specific beliefs to feel what most resonates.  Then there are those who have said a resounding, “Yes!” to the journey.  That no turning back, “Yes!”  This Yes, requires courage, facing fears galore of the unknown, and usually comes about after sometime of being aware that one is actually traveling on this journey.  

The journey is always calling, pulling and drawing you to “it” as if it were a powerful, universal magnet and you/us, metal.  All roads lead home to who we truly are.  It’s not always an easy, “Yes!”  It’s a surrender, and once we surrender, the journey becomes turbo charged, and we begin to transform; it’s definitely not a sprint; it is most certainly a marathon- it’s the marathon of all marathons.

But what is it you ask?  It’s the whole kit and caboodle; all the things, circumstances, relationships, hardships, triumphs; it’s life in the human form-maybe the why you’re here at this time in this way-your purpose, your dharma or life work, your lessons and such.

Intentionally traveling on the spiritual journey means you surrender to the undeniable, likely lifelong pull of a somewhat unknown force, we term God, Allah, Source, Consciousness, or the Animating Force of All Life.  

As a Life Coach, I partner with and support people who are intentionally on the spiritual journey.  Perhaps you’re spiritually curious; maybe you are flailing and stumbling along on your journey.  You could be barely starting, far along, or anywhere in between.  Whether you are intentionally on the journey by obvious choice or because some dramatic catalyst got you here, I can support you in navigating journey specific attributes, features, themes, circumstances, and challenges that occur for people who are here.  Some of the symptoms you may be experiencing of burgeoning growth are: discontent, restlessness, a sense that there is so much more than meets the eye in this life, loneliness, feeling larger than this container (human body), deep questioning of who you truly are, a deep need to align your life to Truth which you are still discovering.  These are beacons urging you to return home to the Truth of who you really are; that place from which you can thrive like never before.

As a fellow traveler for almost two decades, I offer unique insight and understanding of the journey, support for integration of your rememberings and learning, anchoring into your own inner knowing or inner guru, and support for your continued evolution, expansion, and transformation.  

Along the path, having someone who understands and respects your decision and intention to boldly step onto the path and can hold true space for your unfolding, metamorphosis, expansion, contraction, fears, shadows, inquiry, ever expanding awareness, spiritual practice, and vigilance, can feel like a lifeline as the ground beneath you shifts, quakes, and crumbles.  There are stages within Change, and having someone who understands where you are in the Change Cycle and can therefore help you successfully navigate it, is a unique and extremely useful kind of support.  This is the offer- the invitation.
